About
the Summit
The Australian Social Cohesion Summit 2026 will examine the social fabric of contemporary Australia through the lenses of diversity, connection and our shared future.
At a time of rapid social change, economic pressure, misinformation and declining trust in institutions, the Summit offers a national platform for informed dialogue on how social cohesion can be understood, strengthened and sustained.
Bringing together leaders from government, community organisations, research, philanthropy and civil society, the 2026 program will explore how diversity shapes belonging, how connections are built across communities, and what is required to support the future of social cohesion in Australia.
The Summit will create space for both strategic reflection and practical exchange, supporting participants to move from insight to action.
